Kalpurgan Living Pottery Museum is the only living pottery museum in the world, which dates back to 7,000 years ago. What has drawn the world’s attention to Kalpurgan pottery is the making of pottery without the use of a pottery wheel in such a way that all pottery is made by traditional primitive methods and by Baloch women.
Throughout history, this art has been passed down to the next generations without any change in the method of making and the type of raw materials, and potters create works of art in the same old traditional way.
